KC Stars Saturday Game Against The Akron Rise Has Been Cancelled

Kansas City, Mo. Saturday's 2:00pm game against the Akron Rise has been cancelled. The Akron Rise basketball team, crippled by the H1N1 virus, will reschedule the game against the STARS. ABA league officials offer fans their apologies for the cancellation.

Friday night's game against the Oklahoma Impact will be played as scheduled at 7:00pm on the CTU Kansas City floor in Municipal Auditorium.

The KC STARS organization will give a 24"x 36" KC STARS poster to the first 100 fans through the gates at Friday night's game. "Without the fans we wouldn't have a team, we appreciate our growing fan base," stated Rickey Hunley Jr., VP of Basketball Operations.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster.com for the KC Stars regular season home games.
