KC Stars Roll The Indiana Steamrollers 172-85

Kansas City, Mo. The ABA KC STARS basketball team got their first taste of ABA action in an exhibition game, November 14, against the Indiana Steamrollers in a 172-85 victory at Avila University.
Coach Rodney Perry led a charged KC STARS team Saturday night. The KC STARS 2nd quarter offensive explosion was started by guard, Rapheal Posey (University of Texas-San Antonio). Posey finished with a game high 27 points. Kansas City fans witnessed an unselfish brand of professional basketball. Ten STARS' players sealed the victory with double figures in points. Adequate defense held Indiana under 100 points.
The STARS will face their next opponent, Livin'-The-Dream basketball team, in an exhibition game on Sunday November 22, 2009, 6 pm at Avila University. The game is open to the entire public.
Tickets are now available through Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster.com for the KC Stars regular season home opener November 27th, 7 p.m. on the CTU Kansas City floor at Municipal Auditorium.
